W890i no tone on incoming call/sms but can play Mp3.

Upon diagnostic you'll conclude that maybe the problem of this phone is just software, because you can play MP3, you can listen to its ringtone, you can hear the voice of other party. But you cannot set message tone on settings, but you can hear the tick and tones of  your keypad. So what part does control the incoming calls or the message tones?

Buzzer!



Illustrated in this photo, speaker and buzzer are joined together separated by a magnet in the center.

Let us try to separate it, you can check both if its good via tester.

To solved your problem replace the full set or you can separate them first and change only the buzzer.
