Thunderst0rm confirmed FAKE!

This is to inform you all that the software tool which promised to jailbreak and unlock iPhone 3.1.3 untethered on 05.12.01 baseband for all the iDevices has finally been released. And as I previously envisaged, the tool has now been confirmed as fake. The reason why the file is size is so huge is because the executable file unnecessary packs large amount of random DLL files which does absolutely nothing.
So clearly, don’t waste your time and risk your machine by downloading this tool. It is meant to only show a dialog box. There is absolutely no interaction whatsoever taking place with any of the iDevices connected. The reversed engineered code shown below (image via iH8sn0w) confirms this. It is only meant to call a message box.

For the “real” working tools to jailbreak all devices on iPhone 3.1.3, and iPad on iPhone 3.2, we will have to wait for the tools like greenp0ison, blackra1n for iPad, Spirit (the new userland untethered jailbreak) and PwnageTool which are expected to be released once iPad 3G hits the shelves later this month. Expect these mentioned tools to be out by either end of this month, or in the first half of May.
